RESEÑA: Nos cuenta como una chica estudiante presencia el brutal asesinato de una joven desde la 'comodidad' de su apartamento.A partir de ese momento la vida de la estudiante se vuelve en un infierno, ya que ella y su familia comienzan a recibir amenazas de muerte y ni siquiera la policía puede ayudarle.CRITICA:Lo que realmente genera miedo de una película como The Den es que lo que se ve en ella podría ser tranquilamente cierto, no es un film que fuerce situaciones inverosímiles, lo digo más que nada por la seguridad que ofrecen las redes sociales y las computadoras personales de hoy en día, que alguien pueda hackear tu correo o incluso hackear tu computadora entera para utilizar tu webcam y grabarte, es algo que es posible, ha sucedido y sucede.Lo grandioso de The Den es como logra montar todo este teatro y hacerlo creíble para el espectador,la película es brillante y seguramente muchas personas se sentirán identificadas con muchas de las cosas que se ven durante el transcurso de la misma, con el auge de las redes sociales, Facebook, Twitter y servicio de video-chat como Chatroulette u Omegle, que nos permiten hacer lo que se ve en la película, tener video-chats con desconocidos totales de cualquier parte del mundo, más de uno en la audiencia lo habrá hecho y de aquí radica el arma de la película, meter miedo y también de alguna forma servir como advertencia, seguro que hay mucho loco suelto ahí afuera tratando de aprovecharse de los desprevenidos.En algún aspecto es algo similar a lo que se vio en la brillante Megan is Missing, un film más crudo que este.Zachary Donohue dirige y supervisa con cierta maestría los tiempos de la película, todo se desarrolla de manera natural, un comienzo apacible que con el correr de los minutos se vuelve cada vez más extraño, retorcido y siniestro, The Den nunca fuerza situaciones, este es un gran mérito y logra que el espectador se involucre cada vez más con lo que le sucede a la protagonista, que no puedas despegar sus ojos de la pantalla.No hay dudas que The Den es un mockumentary original, distinto a los del palo de Paranormal Activity y esto ya es decir mucho, una película en donde el espectador se sienta identificado y que seguro dejara pensando a más de uno a la hora de ponerse al frente de la computadora. No puedo contar muchos detalles, donde también hay momentos para ver algo de Gore, que nunca viene mal ¿o no?. The Den es una película de terror muy recomendable, un mockumentary bien montado y bien actuado con un final igual de ‘interesante’.Un saludo a todos y cuídense amigos.
